Bruce E. Brugler
Bruce is a Managing Director of the Firm with direct responsibility for managing client relationships and addressing all investment-related matters. He serves as the main point-of-contact with clients and manages their portfolios by following the investment strategies and allocations determined by Tiedemann’s Investment Management Team and customizing portfolios to meet individual client goals and situations. He is also a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He joined Tiedemann Wealth Management in October 2016 when Presidio Capital Advisors merged with the Firm.
Prior to Tiedemann, Bruce joined Presidio in 2004 as a Managing Director on its Capital Advisors Team and had direct responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining investment portfolios for high net worth families and individuals. He was the lead advisor in the Firm’s San Francisco office and was a member of both the Leadership and Investment Committees. Bruce has been selected by Barron’s magazine as one of America’s Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors for seven consecutive years. Prior to Presidio, Bruce was a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities and Bank of America Securities.
Bruce is active in the community and serves as an Advisor to Branson School’s Beekeeping Club and is the former Scoutmaster of Troop 59 BSA.
Bruce is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been published in the Wall Street Journal.
Bruce earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University.
Born and raised in California, Bruce currently resides in Marin County with his wife and three children.
