Mark serves on the Firm’s Strategic Advisory Board.

Mark is the Director of Business Development at First Pacific Advisors, LLC, a mutual fund investment firm located in Los Angeles. Prior to joining FPA, Mark spent 8 years as a senior executive of Tiedemann Wealth Management and a member of the Investment Team. In that role, he was responsible for managing client relationships and attracting new clients to Tiedemann. Prior to joining Tiedemann, Mark worked for Richemont International, a multinational, family-controlled holding company, where he oversaw U.S.-based investments and identified new investment opportunities. From 1995 until 1998, he worked for the Stephens family of Arkansas, where he initially served as assistant to the Chairman, Jackson Stephens, and later as part of the team that oversaw the family’s wealth management process.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town.

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Mark currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with his wife and three children.
